PRSG Lab Participates in 2026 K-GEO FESTA and Receives Hackathon Award
PRSG Lab attended 2026 K-GEO FESTA for three days with its students, exploring the latest technological developments and industrial applications in the geospatial information field.
Throughout the event, lab members visited exhibitions featuring geospatial companies, advanced surveying instruments, and innovative geospatial technologies. They also attended technical sessions and presentations to gain insights into emerging trends and future directions in the geospatial industry.
Notably, PRSG Lab students received an award at the “Crowdsourced Data Utilization Hackathon” held during the event. Their project, titled “3D Applications of Digital Twin Hanok Models,” proposed practical approaches to integrating 3D geospatial models with various data sources to enhance their real-world applicability.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to recognize the importance and potential of surveying and geospatial technologies while gaining a deeper understanding of the connection between academic research and real-world applications.
